摘要
在本院最近經驗一例在窒息下出生的新生兒，經使用陽壓蘇生器急救，後來發生呼吸困難，由胸部X光照相證明爲氣胸而做胸腔穿刺抽氣治療成功，以下提出報告。

A newborn male infant was delivered with grade 2 asphyxia. Resuscitator was applied immediately with good result. Twenty hours later, respiratory distress with cyanosis and swelling over the foreneck and submandibular region abruptly developed. The diagnosis of left side pneumothorax and subcutaneous emphysema was confirmed by a chest x-ray and the distress was relieved by needle aspiration. A brief discussion on the incidence, etiology (particularly on the pressure of resuscitator), clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the disease is presented.
