台灣地區1992-2001年衛生教育在護理研究應用之文獻評析

Analysis of Literature on Applied Health Education in Nursing Research in Taiwan, 1992 - 2001

摘要


衛生教育是護理人員重要的功能之一,本研究採用文獻回顧方式針對1992-2001年十年間以護理人員為第一作者發表國內健康專業學術性雜誌中,研究主題與探討衛生教育實驗介入有關之文獻做分析與討論,並將這十年的研究以年代區分為兩群(1992-1996與1997-2001),比較其前後五年間的差異。結果發現:共收集67篇文獻,文獻發表以護理團體所發行的雜誌為主,平均每年有6-7篇的發表量,研究收案地點以醫療院所為主,因此偏向病人衛生教育,衛教目的以改變知識、態度、行為、生化生理狀況為主,研究方法與設計在1997-2001年的研究較1992-1996者嚴謹度增加,衛生教育介入評價方式仍以量性評價、研究對象自填量表佔大多數、前後五年比較,除了「介入策略」之外,其餘項目沒有統計的顯著差異存在。依照研究結果,鼓勵護理人員執行衛教介入之研究,並建議護理教育應加入衛生教育與行為科學相關的課程以提升護理人員執行衛教介入之能力。

ABSTRACT: Health education is one of the most important functions of the nursing profession. This study reviews the literature with research themes are related to health education interventions that has nursing professionals as the first author and was published in health-related academic journals between 1992 and 2001. The contents of the literature were analyzed and discussed. Also, the studies were split into two groups (1992-1996 and 1997- 2001) and compared to examine the difference between them. The findings were as follows: There were 67 articles in total, mainly published in journals of the nursing community. On average, there were six to seven articles per year. The sites for recruiting the cases were hospitals and the topics were mainly focused on patient education. The purposes of health education were to change knowledge, attitudes, behavior, and biomedical conditions. The methodology in the period 1997-2001 was more rigid than in 1992-1996. The evaluation methods were mainly quantitative and self-administered questionnaire was the major method for data collection. There was no statistically significant difference between the former and latter periods except for the intervention strategy. The authors recommend that nursing professionals should be encouraged to conduct health education intervention research. Also, the subjects of health education and behavioral science should be added into nursing education to improve the ability of the nursing professionals to conducting health education interventions.
