中西醫結合治療再生不良性貧血

摘要

本病例爲一名74歲男性病患，長期務農，平素無特別疾患，於健檢時，曾發現血小板低下，但未經診治。其後開始反覆出現無痛性大量血尿的症狀，經住院檢查後，診斷爲再生不良性貧血，並持續以藥物及血小板輸液控制病情。但患者大量血尿的症狀仍反覆發作，故尋求中醫的介入治療。經中醫診斷辨證爲精虧血虛，診治過程中持續應用補腎填精、養血益氣之品。經中西藥共同治療下，患者已無再出現大量血尿，血尿症狀減輕，輸血小板的次數及總單位數下降，顯示中醫藥在此病例的介入，對患者症狀的緩解、疾病的控制、及生活品質的提昇有其獨到之處。

This is a case of 74-year-old male farmer without any systemic disease except thrombocytopenia in previous health examination, but he didn't receive any further examination or treatment. Unfortunately, due to recurrent painless gross hematuria and thrombocytopenia, he was hospitalized with the diagnosis of aplastic anemia. Since then he had received medication and multiple platelets transfusion regularly, but in vain. Therefore, he decided to seek for the intervention of traditional Chinese Medicine.
The patient's identify pattern is the essence insufficiency and blood vacuity by Chinese Medical diagnosis. We treated with the principle of supplementing kidney and replenish essence, nourish blood and boosting qi. Gross hematuria was relieved after a period of combined treatment of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. The interval and total units of platelets transfusion were also decreased. The present case showed that the efficacy of Chinese Medicine has its own uniqueness included symptoms relieved, controlling disease progression, and elevated quality of life.
