Mebendazole對美洲鰻及錦鯉魚擬指環蟲感染之防治效果及安全性試驗

本研究旨在探討每鞭達挫(mebendazole)對美洲鰻、錦鯉魚之擬指環蟲屬寄生蟲感染的防治效果及對美洲鰻、錦鯉魚之急性毒性。篩選有擬指環蟲感染之美洲鰻、錦鯉魚,採樣分別以mebendazole 0.5、1.0、2.0 ppm濃度進行長時間藥浴,結果均能達到有效防治擬指環蟲的效果,於投藥治療後72小時,各組鰓部均無檢出蟲體,此結果與對照組比較有顯著差異(P<0.01)。mebendazole對美洲鰻、錦鯉魚之急性毒性試驗,mebendazole對美洲鰻(45±10 gm)及錦鯉魚(34±8 gm) 24小時之50%藥浴致死濃度計算結果,分別為>348.57 ppm及224.64 ppm。mebendazole對美洲鰻及錦鯉魚48小時之50%藥浴致死濃度計算結果,分別為249.10 ppm及141.11 ppm。mebendazole對美洲鰻及錦鯉魚72小時之50%藥浴致死濃度計算結果,分別為226.60 ppm及134.00 ppm。綜上結果顯示,mebendazole以0.5-2 ppm長時間藥浴,能達到有效驅除擬指環蟲的效果,而且安全性佳。

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of mebendazole in American eels (Anguilla rostrata) and Japanese colored carps (Cyprinus carpio var.) with Pseudodactylogyrus sp. infestation. American eels and Japanese colored carps naturally infected with Pseudodactylogyrus sp. were incubated in larger circular fiberglass tanks at 28℃. A long-term bath treatment using 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 ppm mebendazole per liter respectively, for 24 or 48 hours was conducted. All of the treatment employed applicable methods. Seventy-two hours later both Pseudodactylogyrus sp. adult and post larvae were eradicated from the treated group of eels and Japanese colored carps. The difference in parasite abundance between the control and experimental groups was significant (P<0.01). The acute toxicity of mebendazole to cultured American eels and Japanese colored carps was studied. The results were calculated using the Van der Waerden method as follows: The median tolerance limit (TLm) values for mebendazole for 24 hours in the above orders were>348.57 ppm and 224.64 ppm, respectively. The TLm values for mebendazole for 48 hours in the above orders were 249.10 ppm and 141.11 ppm, respectively. The TLm values for mebendazole for 72 hours in the above orders were 226.60 ppm and 134.00 ppm, respectively. The results revealed that mebendazole 0.5-2.0 ppm used to treat the Pseudodactylogyrus sp. in the treatment test was proven to be effective and safe.
