省產柳杉材之釘接垂直引拔抵抗研究

An Evaluation on Withdrawal Resistance of Nail Joints for Domestic Cryptomeria Sawn Lumber

摘要


本研究以省產柳杉材為釘接材料,分析國內常用之箱用釘2d至40d之九種規格在木材三個斷面的垂直引拔抵抗,並比較三小時至二個月等八種不同釘著時間對鐵釘垂直引拔抵抗之影響,同時也分析四種以釘槍趨動之鐵釘之釘接效果以供業界參考。研究結果顯示,箱用釘在柳杉試材弦切面之垂直引拔抵抗能力較徑切面高30.6%,而橫切面的垂直引拔抵抗僅為徑切面之64.8%。2d桎6d箱用釘的釘著效果,不似8d至40d規格者有明顯的隨著釘直徑之增大而提高垂直引拔抵抗能力的趨勢。以非線性迴歸預測箱用釘直徑與在柳杉材之垂直引拔抵抗之間的關係,要較目前採用之直線關係更為精確。8d、10d、16d箱用釘在釘著3小時之垂直引拔抵抗值,高出釘著3天至2個月之平均值約32%。以釘槍施工之一形釘及捲釘的垂直引拔抵抗較佳而T形釘最差,ㄇ形釘應用于木材弦切面及橫切面之釘著效果最好。釘槍施工之釘垂直引拔抵抗能力與傳統釘槌施工者無異,部份種類則有降低之趨勢。

The domestic Cryptomeria sawn lumber is used as nailing substrate to investigate the withdrawal resistance of box nails driven into the tangential face, radial face, and cross section of wood for nine penny weights. The results indicated that the value tested from tangential face of wood is higher than that from radial face of wood, while the value tested from cross section of wood is only about 64.8% of that from radial face of wood. The values of withdrawal resistance of 2d to 6d box nail do not show the significant difference according to the diameter of nails. However, the withdrawal resistance of box nail is improved as the diameter increases from 8d to 40d. The values of withdrawal resistance for 8d, 10d, 16d box nails tested after driven into the wood for 3 hrs shows about 32% higher than those from 3 days to 2 months of nailing duration. The single-leg staples and coil nails performs better in withdrawal resistance among four types of nails operated by pneumatic fastening tools; while T-nail has poor withdrawal resistance. The highest value of withdrawal resistance on either tangential face or cross section of wood can be found by nailing with regular staples. In general, the performance on withdrawal resistance of nails operated by pneumatic fastening tools does not show better than that of nailing with hammer.
