摘要


過去二、三十年來電腦在各種工業應用得相當廣泛,然而頗為遺憾,僅有少數報告論及在家其工業上的應用。本文旨在探討如何使家具工廠之機器設備在最充分利用的情形下,生產出滿足銷售部門所預測的數量範圍內,而為公司創造出最大的利潤貢獻。本研究乃採線性規畫的方法,將有限資源分配以達到所要求目標,亦即將目標以及達成目標之條件限制,均藉等式及/或不等式之形式來表示,並從而求得最佳解。又本研究係以個案的方式,嘗試建立家其產銷之線性規畫模式,然後藉助電腦來求取最佳解,提供公司必要的生產資訊,以為生產企畫決策時的依據。

During the past 20 years computers have found wide application in a variety of industries. Unfortunately, very little has been published regarding the use of computers in the furniture industry. This paper will discuss maximizing machine utilization in a furniture plant but will also simultaneously address itself to profit maximization while satisfying minimum and maximum quantities as required by sales. The mathematical technique utilized in this paper is known as linear programming (LP). An example has been selected to illustrate computer utilization in the furniture industry for the purpose of optimizing machine loading while maximizing profit and fulfilling sales requirements. The LP utilized in this example will provide necessary information for management authority on Production planning decision.
