酚甲醛樹脂含浸長薄片之定向粒片板性質探討

本研究乃針對柳杉與柳安二樹種製作成耐水性佳之定向粒片板進行評估,所製作之定向粒片板係將長薄片分別含浸3%、6.5%、10%之醋甲醒樹脂,藉由定向裝置製作成單層之長薄片合浸酌甲醛樹脂定向粒片板。定向粒片板性質方面,板面定向角度累積至30°為止,達74.3-89.6%;以超音波加以測定時,可發現隨著定向角度之增加,超音波傳遞速度會遞減,其間之關係式以Hankinson's formula加以表示時,柳杉定向粒片板之n值介於1.8-1.9之間,而柳安定向粒片板之n值則介於1.7-1.8之間;長薄片含浸酚甲醛樹脂定向粒片板之靜曲強度性質方面,柳杉定向粒片板之MOR_(//)與MOE_(//)分別為56.2-57.7Mpa、10.2-11.0Gpa;柳安定向粒片板則分別為51.0-130.7Mpa、15.8-16.8GPa;全板之異方性方面;V_0/V_(90)為1.9-3.5,而MOR_(//)/MOR與MOEI_(//)MOE則分別為3.9-10、3.4-12.0。耐水劣化方面,經溫水劣化之MOR與MOE之強度保留率,除編號LC之定向粒片板外,均達50%以上。

The main purpose of this study was to manufacture the water-resistant oriented strand board (OSH). Recycled wood wastes of Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) and lauan (Shorea spp.) were used in this study. The flakes were impregnated in the waterborne PF resin solution with concentrations of 3%, 6.5% and 10%, respectively. A single layer OSHs were fabricated by using a mechanical orienter and conventional hot press. The flake alignment, ultrasonic velocity, bending strength, internal bond strength, thickness swelling and accelerated degradation behaviors of PF-impregnated OSH were discussed. The experimental results are summarized as follow: The flake's aligned angle (θ): (the angle between flake length direction and mechanical alignment direction) on the face layer of OSB within 0° -30° accumulated to 74.3 - 89.6%. The ultrasonic velocity (V) at 0° of aligned angle (V_0) was the highest, decreased rapidly with increasing of the aligned angle(θ). The lowest value of ultrasonic velocity occurred at 90° of aligned angle (V_(90)) and the relationship betweenθand V could be represented by Hankinson's formula. The optimal n values for Hankinson's formula were 1.8-1.9 for Japanese cedar OSB and 1.7-1.8 for lauan wood OSB. The bending strength MOR_(//) and MOE_(//) (defined as face flake' s aligned angle with the span direction was 0° ) were 56.2-57.7 MPa and 1O.2-11.0GPa for Japanese cedar OSH, and 51.0-130.7MPa, 15.8-16.8GPa for lauan wood OSB, respectively. The orthotropic ultrasonic velocity preperties of OSB, defined as the ratio of V0/V_(90) were 1.9-3.5 for whole piece specimen. However, the ratio of MOR_(//)/ MOR_1, and MOE_(//)/MOE_1, were 3.9-10, and 3.4-12.0 respectively. PF-impregnated OSB, after treatment in hot-water(70°C) for 2hours, the retention rate(%) of MOR_(//) and MOE_(//) were all above 50%.
