摘要

蚊蟲會傳染許多疾病，因此，如何防止蚊蟲叮咬是相當重要的課題。為了減少蚊蟲叮咬，忌避劑為一種常用且有效的方法。本文係回顧蚊蟲忌避活性之試驗方法，並簡單介紹植物精油與抽出物之忌避活性。

Mosquitoes are responsible for the transmission of a large number of human diseases world-wide. Hence for preventing the spread of these diseases, it is essential to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. Using repellents is one of very common and effective methods to reduce bites. The purposes of this article are to review the assays of repellent activity currently used and to summarize the repellent activities of the plant essential oils and their constituents against mosquitoes.
