市售冷燙燙髮劑化粧品之品質調查
Investigation on the Quality of Marketed Cold Perm

To understand the quality of marketed cold perm, we purchased ninety samples in Taiwan area from October to December in 1985. The items examined for either the first or the second lotion of cold perm included: (1) Appearance (2) pH value (3) Identification and determination of essential ingredients (4) The alkalinity of the first lotion. The results indicated that a high of 80% of case samples were in violation. Among them; many unqualified samples contained chemicals not involved in the original formulation for liscence application. Furthermore, it's worthy to note that nine samples were sold without liscence.
