禽肉中抗生素殘留之調查
An Investigation of Antibiotic Residues in Poultry

From April 1985 through June 1986, poultry (including 100 chicken carcasses and 300 offals, 58 duck carcasses and 102 offals) were sampled from Taiwan and checked for antibiotic residues. Antibiotic residues were found in 4 chicken carcasses, 115 chicken's offals (liver mainly, 57%), 6 duck carcasses and 31 duck's offals (liver mainly, 58.8%), The kind of antibiotic residues in chicken carcasses and its offals were mainly chloramphenicol, chlorotetracycline, oxytetracycline, tylosin and lincomycin, whereas tylosin and lincomycin in duck carcasses and its offals. 1 chicken carcass (1%), 17 chicken's offals (5.7%) 1 duck carcass (1.7%) and 8 duck's offals (7.8%) were found to contain antibiotic residues higher than the allowance level of bioassay method in this investigation.
