國產香菸煙流中多氯聯苯之探討

Determination of Polychlorinated Biphenyls Content of the Total Particulate Matter in Domestic Cigarettes

摘要


本研究建立了以氣相層析法(gas chromatography,GC)檢測香菸煙流凝集物(total particulate matter,TPM)及菸絲(cigarette tobacco)中多氯聯苯(polychlorinated biphenyls,PCBs)之檢驗方法。檢體以正己烷經超音波處理萃取多氯聯苯,萃取液採用濃硫酸及濃硫酸配合矽膠過濾層析匣分別處理煙流凝集物及菸絲檢體,以氣相層析-電子捕獲檢出器(electron-capture detector,ECD)檢測,顯示淨化效果良好。抽吸每支香菸收集之煙流凝集物添加多氯聯苯KC-500標準品0.04 μg、0.08 μg及0.16 μg,平均回收率為93.7∼109.8%,變異係數為3.7∼8.7%。添加0.1∼0.3 μg/g 檢體濃度於菸絲中之平均回收率為91.7∼101.3%,變異係數為3.2∼5.6%。以所建立的方法抽驗檢測十三種國產香菸煙流凝集物及菸絲,在方法偵測極限下均未檢出多氯聯苯,其偵測極限分別為0.02 μg/Cig.TPM 及0.02μg/g。

An analytical method using gas chromatography (GC) for the determination of PCBs was developed. PCBs were extracted from total particulate matter (TPM) and tobacco in domestic cigarettes by n-hexane while shaking with ultrasonic bath, and determined by gas chromatography equipped with an electroncapture detector. After extraction, the solution of the TPM was cleaned up using sulfuric acid and cigarette tobacco was cleaned up using sulfuric acid following silica cartridge. Recovery studies were carried out by spiking the standards of PCBs KC-500 at the levels of 0.04μg, 0.08μg and 0.16μg/Cig. TPM and spiking the standards of PCBs KC-500 at the levels of 0.1, 0.15 and 0.3μg/g in the tobacco. Average recoveries were in the range of 93.7∼109.8 % and 91.7∼101.3% for TPM and tobacco respectively. The method detection limit was 20ng/Cig.TPM and 0.02μg/g in the TPM and tobacco respectively. When the method was applied to thirteen kinds of domestic cigarette, PCBs were not detected with the above describe method detection limit of the TPM and tobacco.
