石門集水區河川形態之研究

River Morphology in Shih-Men Watershed

摘要


石門水庫集水區前後已進行四次航空照像,並完成土地利用及崩塌地航測調查。這些航照可以利用做更多的不同主題研究。本研究以河川形態為主題,除判讀不同年次的航照外,並於實地進行野外地形及地質調查,試行解釋石門集水區內主要河川之形態及成因。航照判讀的方法以製作動態地形圖( Geomorphological Map) 為成果。比較不同年次航照製繪的動態地形圖,可協助製繪崩塌地變遷圖,再參考地形、地質資料,即可推測今後崩塌地的發育,製成潛在河岸崩塌地分佈圖。河川形態的發育中,以河岸崩塌地為最明顯的進行方式。追踪崩塌地的發育,有助於規劃崩塌地處理工程,及其他河道工程,如防砂埧之選止。

Siltation of reservoirs is extremely rapid in Taiwan. Previous studies of landslide in the Shih-men watershed revealed that river bank landslides play a major role in directly supplying sediments to the rivers. In this study, aerial photographs of 4 different years, 1957, 1964, 1970, 1974 are used to trace the changing pattern of landslides along the river banks. The technique of geomorphological mapping based on aerial photo interpretation and ground geological survey have aided the construction of a map of potential landslide areas. Detailed examination of river morphology, including the stream profile, the longitudinal profile and the planform indicated that local geology is a major controlling factor in the evolution of the river system. This is logical particularly considering the intense tectonic activity, the lithology, and the structure of the area. It is concluded that better understanding of geology and geomorphology of the river system may facilitate control of river bank failures, siting of check dams, and planning of other river and soil conservation engineering works.
