In Taiwan, much progress has been made in the revegetation and management of areas hit by landslides. However, in hard-to-reach regions, phytoremediation cannot be performed using conventional vegetation methods for slope land. Thus, this study explored the outcomes of phytoremediation in the past 3 years, in which unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were used for sowing and planting. Subsequently, this study examined the research, development, and design of pellet kits; planning of sowing operation procedures with (UAVs); effects of pellet storage; and outcomes of onsite sowing cases, as well as compared the various types of UAV models used. The study results may serve as references for engaging in and promoting related endeavors in the future.
