毛豆台南亞蔬2號之育成

毛豆台南亞蔬2號係台南區農業改良場與亞蔬-世界蔬菜中心合作於2005年11月育成,本品種採用人工雜交育種法,1994年春作人工雜交,母本為GC91036-P,父本為TVB-5。雜交後代分離及培育,係以單粒後裔育種法,經品系試驗、區域試驗及一系列栽培試驗結果顯示,毛豆台南亞蔬2號具食味口感佳、合格莢產量高、耐病性佳、莢果大且外觀色澤綠,經行政院農糧署品種命名委員會邀請專家、學者審查,獲得一致支持通過命名登記,商品名稱「珍寶」。毛豆台南亞蔬2號綠莢生育日數春作82~91天,秋作66~78天。植株屬有限生長型。春作株高為43.0~48.1公分,秋作株高為37.3~43.0公分。花白色,葉為三小葉卵圓形。種皮及臍均為黃色,乾種子百粒重36~42公克。春作合格莢產量每公頃7,850~13,160公斤,500公克莢數119~171個,剝實率43.9~55.3%,秋作合格莢產量每公頃5,700~10,552公斤,500公克莢數149~191個,剝實率46.5~59.0%。

Tainan ASVEG No. 2 is a new variety of vegetable soybean, which was released by The Tainan District Agricultural Research and Extension Station and Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center in November, 2005. This variety was selected from the cross between GC91036-P and TVB-5 in 1994. The generation was propagated by single seed descent method. Tainan ASVEG No. 2 was selected in F5 generation in the fall crop of 1996. The variety was evaluated in a series of new lines yield trials and regional yield trials. There are many good characteristics such as excellent flavor, high graded pod yield, superior resistance to major diseases and insects, large pod size and fresh green pod color. Therefore, it was released under the agreement of The New Crop Cultivar Naming, Registration and Inspection Committee Organized by the Council of Agriculture of the Executive-Yuan, R.O.C. The main characteristics of Tainan ASVEG No. 2 were as fallows: Tainan ASVEG No. 2 is a medium maturing cultivar and required approximately 82-91 days and 66-78 days in the spring and the fall crop, respectively. Plant height is about 43.0-48.1 centimeters in the spring crop and 37.3-43.0 centimeters in the fall crop. It has white flower and trifoliolate oval leaflets. The seed coat and hilum are yellow. The 100-seed dry weight is 36-42 grams. Average graded pod yield of Tainan ASVEG No. 2 is 7,850-13,160 kg/ha, 119-171 pods per 500 grams, 43.9-55.3% with shelling rate in the spring crop and 5700-10552 kg/ha, 149-191 pods per 500 grams, 46.5-59.0% with shelling rate in the fall crop.
