The geography data of the Dajia Creek, Putsu Creek, and Toucian Creek in western Taiwan will be collected and analyzed by ArcGIS to obtain some information related with river width. The least 75 selected points in each creek were used to produce the measured data of river bed width from satellite images or topography diagrams. Single variable regression analysis will be used to analyse those data and find the coefficients of experience equations. Those data include land cover, river slope, land slope, and catchment area got from GIS analysis. The correlation coefficient R-Squared value of the catchment area is higher than the others and excess 0.5, i.e. it belongs to substance relationship. The relationship of river width and the catchment area fit with power law curve, the index power of exponent is situated between 0.42-0.67. The results show that the other factors are moderately related or irrelevant in different region.
