照顧一位以清潔劑自殺之青少年個案的護理經驗
Nursing Experience of a Suicidal Teenager at I.C.U.

This article is to discuss the nursing experience of an adolescent who attempted suicide with detergent ”Wilington” and was transferred into the intensive care unit. In addition to stabilizing the patient's physical imbalance induced by chemical substance, by Roy's Adaptation Model, the patient's health problems were identified as: ineffective airway clearance existing injury 'ineffective individual coping body image disturbance' risk of infection and altered comfort. Based on the therapeutic relationship between the patient and nursing staff, the patient turned from rejecting the communication with the nursing staff into accepting the nursing staff as consultants. The nursing staff could further aid the patient in facing with the problem of physical and psychological adaptation. We present the caring experience to be shared with all the nursing staff.
