Pediatric liver transplant surgery is presently regarded as an effective treatment of children's biliary atresia, hepatic failure, liver tumors, and partial congenital metabolic disorder, but is also a life-threatening medical procedure. This article mainly described the indications of the liver transplant, the children's need to receive the surgery, and their family life experience and decision-making process. Additionally, a systematic reorganization of nursing assessments and transplant surgery care, as well as home care information were provided. In addition, looking at these two clinical cases may serve as a valuable reference for nurses in the future.
