Gazettes system is one of the major foundations for building an open government. The Premier Yu has required the RDEC to formulate a new plan for redesigning a sound gazettes system. The RDEC has accordingly submitted a new plan for integrating the various agency gazettes into a unitary administrative gazette under the Executive Yuan. The new plan will be carried out by an ad hoc taskforce, Gazettes Editing and Printing Center. Some difficulties and problems confronted in the process of implementation of the new plan are discussed. Several adjusting measures are also suggested.
