The legal system of government information disclosure was first revealed by the enforcement of the Administrative Procedure Act in 2001. The official launch of the consolidated Executive Yuan Gazette in January 2005 unfolds a new page in the history of government information disclosure. This article consolidates and lists current government information disclosure regulations in Taiwan, studies the relationship between government information disclosure and the existing laws, and implementation problems, and describes the key content of the Government Information Disclosure Act after consultations between the government and various political parties.
