Infrastructure is critical to economic growth and the well-beings of the society. . How risks in the construction process are managed greatly influences the outcome, i.e. the quality of public service delivery. The rapid changes in natural environment and international society have made risk management central to the policymaking of any governments. This research gives an account of what measures the UK governmenthas taken to improve the implementation of risk management in the public sector and how it can be applied to the management of public construction projects. It is concluded with the implications of the UK experiences to Taiwan.
