臺灣地區地方文獻典藏數位化及運用－以國家圖書館爲例

摘要

地方文獻資料記錄了住民的生活軌跡，保存了住民的智慧結晶，是一個地方最珍貴的史料。本文首先說明「地方文獻」的意義，並說明國家圖書館多年来，在數位典藏國家型科技計畫中，将臺灣地區地方文獻數位化，開發建置地方文獻數位内容之查料庫，並透過網路傳輸，提供產官學各界及一般民眾近用地方性查料之情况。本文並論述相關系統之内容主軸及其檢索運用，分享數位化經驗。

This article defines the scope of local document, and it points out that digitalizing the collection of local documents are indeed the most essential issues to preserve local culture. Under the National Digital Archives Program, National Central Library is responsible to digitize the local documents of Taiwan, to establish several information databases, and to make digital content available to the public through Internet. In addition, the article also includes practical experience during the process of digitalizing archives.
