Aspidistra heterotepala (Asparagaceae), a new species from southern Vietnam
摘要
A new species of Aspidistra (Asparagaceae) from Southern Vietnam, A. heterotepala T.C. Hsu & Luu (Asparagaceae), is described and illustrated. A. heterotepala is similar to A. ventricosa Tillich & Skorničk. but distinguishable by the significantly narrower leaves, ellipsoidal perigone tube and adaxially whitish, sub-heteromorphic perigone lobes. Available data on its distribution, ecology and conservation status are also presented.
