摘要

絲瓜為臺灣重要果菜之一，害蟲及有害動物種類繁多，調查至目前（1990年6月）共發現45種，包括害蟲（8目），蟎類及軟體動物，其中主要害蟲瓜實蠅及動物扁蝸牛分別已於1987及1990年發表，本報告續記述目前在田間常發生之其他五種害蟲及害蝸一種，為害期分別為棉蚜1~2月；蕃茄斑潛蠅8~10月；黑守瓜8~9月；瓜螟9~11月；神澤葉蟎4~5月及10~12月；南黃薊馬5月及10~12月。其他種類如臺灣黃毒蛾、瓜擬尺蠖……等族群密度較低，為害較不嚴重。

The sponge gourd is an important vegetable in Taiwan. Forty species of insect pests, 3 species of spider mites and 2 species of molluscas have been recorded as the pests till June 1990. The investigation on seasonal occurrences of some major pests showed that Thrips palmi Karny appeared all year round with the higher population density in May and during October and December, Whiles Aphis gossypii Glover appeared from January to Fabruary, Tetranychus kanzawai Kishida from April to May and from October to December, Aulacophora nigripennis Motshulsky from August to September, Liriomyza bryoniae(Kalt). From August to October and Margaronia indica Saunders from September to November. All other pests such as Phytometra brachychalcea and Amsacta lactinea (Cramer) are negligible due to their low population density.
