2-Phenoxyethanol麻醉與冰鎮對九孔血液係數的影響

摘要


收集血淋巴液對於研究九孔生理學往往是必需的步驟。本實驗即利用以2-pheno-xyethanol麻醉與冰鎮兩種方式來減少抽取血淋巴液的困難性,並嘗試了解這兩種處理方式對於血液學係數的影響。2-Phenoxyethanol已被證明對於對九孔是一種有效的麻醉劑,能使得它自附著面自然脫落,而不致因為使用外力剝離而造成損傷;冰鎮則是可以降低九孔的活動力以便抽取血淋巴液。實驗結果顯示:這兩種處理方式都會對九孔造成壓迫,使得某些血液係數,如血淋巴球數、血糖、蛋白質濃度產生改變。因此,將九孔直接剝落,並儘快採血,對於其血淋巴液的收集可能會是一個較好的方法。

Collecting hemolymph is essential for the physiological study of the small abalone, Haliotis diversicolor. Herein, we used two methods of anesthesia, 2-phenoxyethanol (2-PE) and chilling, to allow easy handling of the abalone and investigated their influence on hemolymphatic parameters. 2-PE has been proven effective for exfoliating abalones from the attached substratum and reduces injuries caused by mechanical removal. Chilling can reduce the mobility of abalone. The results indicated that the both methods were stressors which caused changes in some parameters such as the number of hemocytes and concentrations of glucose, protein, and hemocyanin, in the abalone. Therefore, direct removal and quick bleeding of experimental abalones may be a better method to collect hemolymph from abalone.
