Ten Taiwanese New Records of Alepocephalid Fishes (Pisces: Alepocephalidae) Collected from the Deep Waters by the RV 'Ocean Researcher Ⅰ'

摘要

本研究記載自2001年8月至2004年7月在台灣深海水域內水深316-2547 m，使用海研一號所採集到7個新記錄屬及10個台灣新紀錄種黑頭魚科魚類。它們分別是Alepocephalus longiceps Lloyd, 1909長鰭黑頭魚，Bajacalifornia burragei Townsend and Nichols, 1925伯氏巴傑加州平頭魚，Bathytroctes microlepis Gunther 1878小鱗淵眼魚，Conocara kreffti Sazonov, 1997克氏錐首魚，Leptoderma retropinna Fowler, 1943連尾細皮平頭魚，Narcetes lloydi Fowler, 1934 魯氏黑口魚，Rouleina guentheri (Alcock, 1892)根室魯氏魚，Rouleina watasei (Tanaka, 1909)渡瀨魯氏魚，Talismania antillarum (Goodeand Bean, 1896)安的列斯塔氏魚，Talismania longifilis (Brauer, 1902)絲尾塔氏魚。以上之Bajacalifornia Townsend and Nichols, 1925巴傑加州平頭魚屬，Bathytroctes Gunther 1878淵眼魚屬，Conocara Goode and Bean, 1896錐首魚屬，Leptoderma Vaillant, 1886細皮平頭魚屬，Narcetes Alcock, 1890黑口魚屬，Rouleina Jordan, 1923魯氏魚屬，Talismania (Goode and Bean, 1896)塔氏魚屬等7屬為台灣之新記錄屬。總計台灣目前共有9屬12種黑頭魚科魚類。本研究除描述此10種新記錄種之形態特徵及地理分布外並附上其標本照和採集測站資料，同時亦提供台灣黑頭魚科新的檢索表。

Ten new records of alepocephlid species, and seven new records of genera were collected by R/V 'Ocean Researcher Ⅰ' in the deep waters around Taiwan from 316-2547 meters during August 2001-July 2004. They are Alepocephalus longiceps Lloyd, 1909, Bajacalifornia burragei Townsend and Nichols, 1925, Bathytroctes microlepis Günther 1878, Conocara kreffti Sazonov, 1997, Leptoderma retropinna Fowler, 1943, Narcetes lloydi Fowler, 1934, Rouleina guentheri (Alcock, 1892), Rouleina watasei (Tanaka, 1909), Talismania antillarum (Goode and Bean, 1896), and Talismania longifilis (Brauer, 1902). The genera Bajacalifornia Townsend and Nichols, 1925, Bathytroctes Günther 1878, Conocara Goode and Bean, 1896, Leptoderma Vaillant, 1886, Narcetes Alcock, 1890, Rouleina Jordan, 1923, and Talismania (Goode and Bean, 1896) are the new records of Taiwan. Thus, the total number of Taiwanese alepocephalids currently is nine genera and 12 species. This paper includes diagnostic characters and geographical distributions of these ten new records. Color photos, station data, and a key to the species are given.
