Two rare deep-sea anglerfish species in the family Oneirodidae are reported with their distributions remarkably extended in three major oceans. Oneirodes plagionema originally descibed from the cetral western Pacific is now also recorded from the southwestern and eastern Pacific and northwesern Atlantic. Oneirodes pietschi originally described from the western and central North Pacific is now also recorded from south Eastern Indian Ocean. New data and description for both species are provided as well.
