Pt/γ-Al2O3/C親水性陽極電極材料的製備及特性研究

Preparation and Characteristic Investigation of Hydrophilic Pt/γ-Al2O3/C

摘要


本研究使用硝酸鋁作爲鋁來源,利用溶膠-凝膠法在不同鹽酸添加量下,合成傳統γ相氧化鋁,並仿效中孔洞二氧化矽的合成原理,添加CTAB陽離子型界面活性劑作爲結構導向元件,合成中孔洞高表面積γ相氧化鋁。對兩種不同合成方式的γ相氧化鋁進行特性分析,發現經界面活性劑改質合成的γ相氧化鋁,其表面形貌由傳統γ相氧化鋁的具孔洞之片狀結構轉變成氧化鋁顆粒叢聚的型態,且比表面積及平均孔洞體積均大幅增加。經由sessile drop method證實經界面活性劑改質合成的γ相氧化鋁添加於Pt/C觸媒材料內具有良好的吸水性,可以應用於克服質子交換膜燃料電池陽極端水缺乏的問題。

Aluminum nitrate is used as the aluminum source to synthesize the traditional γ-alumina by solgel method under different addition of hydrophilic acid. Mesostructured γ-alumina is synthesized by a new three step (hydrolysis, condensation and calcination) sol-gel procedure with the appearance of cationic surfactants (hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide) act as structure-directing agent. Mesostructured γ-alumina shows larger BET surface area and narrower average pore size distribution. Contact angle is measured by seesile drop method, the results verify the wettability of catalyst can effectively be enhanced by adding Mesostructured γ-alumina particles into the Pt/C catalyst ink. This phenomenon can apply to maintain the appropriate water content in anode of PEMFC.
