This study conducted by history and literature analysis explores propaganda battle during the periods of Total War and Cold War, and elaborates that beyond battle force, propaganda battle is another power to sway public opinion, of which the initiative is taken by government and military force. The findings indicate that cutting-edge technology in communication makes incessant progress, but is swiftly adopted as a weapon of cohesion and triumph. However, propaganda battle is no less than one element. It also requires the way of current communication technology application, and efficient propaganda and operation in terms of integration, development, and control. This is obviously reflected in Korean War, Vietnam War, ideology dominance in Cold War, and the contention among Britain, America, and Germany in two World Wars.
