摘要
本試驗係於1963至1965年在苗栗四地區連續舉行三年。探討施用三要素肥料對香茅草産量、含油率油分理化性質的影響。 試驗結果指出氮素的施用在第三年部分試驗期有顯著增産作用，但在其他二年須配合磷、鉀肥始有顯著增産之效。 在大部份試驗期中，含油率似受施氮之影響，而有降低之傾向，施用磷、鉀肥有提高含油率的現象。 氮肥之施用使油分含香茅醛量略高，但在第三年有部份試驗期呈現施氮降低香茅醛含量。油分含總醇量，所受施肥之影響不明顯。

Effect of fertilizers on the yield and oil content of citronella grass was conducted at 4 locations in Miaoli, from 1969 to 1965, The quality of the oil which obtained in 1964 and 1955 was also analyzed. The results indicated that the grass yield in the third year was significatly increased by the application of nitrogen fertilizer. However, when phosphorus and potassium was applied with nitrogen, a notable increasing of the grass yield was occured in a large instances in all of the three-year experiment. Generally, percentage of oil content seems to be decreased with increased amount of nitrogen. Conversely, it was slightly promoted by phosphorus and potassium. The citronella oil content was somewhat higher under the application of nitrogen fertilizer, but a reverse effect was also appeared in some instances in the third year experiment. No effect of fertilizer application on the total alcohol of the oil was observed.
