摘要

夜來香(Polianthes tuberose L.)為本省重要之切花，近年來亦被許多國家認為具發展潛力之新興花卉。目前僅‘單瓣’及‘重瓣’二個品種，供商業化栽培，花型、花大小及花色等變化少，亟需加強育種，以創造新品種，有利於夜來香花卉產業之發展。本試驗先收集Polianthes tuberose 'Single'、P. tuberose 'Double'、P.×howardii與P.×blissii及其雜交選育之優良品系等，再經雜交及回交育種，再選出十五個優良品系，其中含三個白花色系，六個粉紅－紅花色系，四個紫紅花色系及二個黃花色系。

Tuberose is one of the most important cut flowers in Taiwan. It has also been regarded to have great potential for becoming a promising floral crop recently However, only two major cultivars 'Single' and 'Double' are cultivated for commercial production in Taiwan. The less variations of flower shape, fewer size and flower color in tuberose cause people pay more urgent to breed ness cultivars Polianthes tuberose 'Single', P. tuber-use 'Double', P.×howardii, P.×blissii and several selected hybrids are collected for this breeding program Hybridization and buck-crossing breeding were made among these collected cultivars and selected hybrids. Fifteen clones with improved characteristics are reselected, including three clones of while, sin clones of pink-red, four clones of purple-red, and two clones of yellow flower color.
