Quark Mass Matrix under SN Symmetry

Within the standard electroweak model, the permutation symmetry among quark generations is extended to the Higgs' sector. We find that S3 is an approximate symmetry for the standard electroweak model with three generations. The quark mass matrices and the quark mixing matrix are then discussed under the broken S3 symmetry by introducing perturbations.
