High Tc Superconductivity in Screen Printed Y-Ba-Cu-O Film

Screen printing proves to be a promising method for the preparation of superconducting films having transition temperatures above 77K. So far we have printed Y-Ba-Cu-O film on 96%Al2O3 substrate with an onset temperature of 93K and zero resistance temperature of 82K for 70μm thickness. Decreasing the film thickness will destroy the superconductivity and it may become a semiconductor.
