On the Spontaneous Magnetization of the Ising Model on a 4-8 Lattice

It is shown that the Ising model on a 4-8 lattice with six different coupling constants can be transformed into a Union Jack Ising model, and from this equivalence the spontaneous magnetization of the Ising model on a 4-8 lattice is obtained. Our earlier conjecture based on the series expansion is confirmed.
