Applied to the Skyrme model to obtain the magnetic moment of nucleon is the conjecture that the vector meson field be shifted to satisfy the low-energy theorems for the ππ scattering amplitude and the y→3π decay amplitude. The gauged Wess-Zumino term reveals the vector meson dominance in the Skyrmion, after taking the shift of the p vector meson. We discuss the numerical implementation of the conjecture in the magnetic moments of the nucleon.
