A Phenomenological Shell Model Analysis of p Shell Λ-Hypernuclei

Five Λ-N potential parameters are fitted to the p shell Λ-hypernuclear ground state and excited state energies by using shell model analysis. The energy differences between hypernuclear mirror pairs and the possibility of a mass dependence have led us to four optimal sets of parameters. The interpretations of these sets are however consistent with the present knowledege of Λ-hypernuclei and the A-N interactions. Further detailed calculations and more experimental data about hypernuclear mirror pairs and excited states in the lower energy region will be very useful.
