YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) thin films have been in-situ deposited onto MgO(100) by using pulsed laser ablation. Tunneling junctions with counterelectrode lead (Pb) and artificial barrier SrTiO3 (STO) were fabricated. These planar junctions of Pb/STO/YBCO showed gap-like structures in the characteristic conductances. They exhibited zerobias anomaly and some fine structure at bias around 2 mV which is attributed to the energy gap of Pb. They also reveal anisotropic energy gap of YBCO with A C ~ 5 meV and Aab ~ 18 meV, corresponding to the reduced energy gap 2△c/kBTc ~ 1.36, 2△ab/kBTc ~ 4.9, respectively. The temperature dependence of the energy gap of lead is reported.
