We briefly review a method of relating parton distributions to familiar quark models such as the MIT bag. Within this framework it is shown that one should expect a surprisingly large difference between the d-quark distribution in the proton and the u-quark distribution in the neutron. These would be equal if charge symmetry were obeyed - as assumed in the usual notation of the parton model. Some possible experimental tests of this result are also discussed.
