Integrable Lattice Systems Associated with a Higher Order Discrete Isospectral Problem and Their Integrable Discretizations

Most integrable lattice systems come from lower order discrete spectral problems. In this paper, we consider an appropriate higher order discrete spectral problem. By the proper choice of time evolution equation and by using the semi-discrete zero curvature equation, Lax integrable lattice systems associated with the higher order discrete spectral problem are obtained. Their integrable discretizations are established.
