肉桂酸類衍生物抗黴菌活性之評估

EVALUATION OF THE ANTIMILDEW ACTIVITY OF CINNAMIC ACID DERIVATIVES

摘要


台灣的氣候溫暖潮濕,木質材料易受黴菌的危害,若能改善木質製品的防黴性,將可延長其使用年限。肉桂酸類衍生物中,肉桂醛可有效抑制真菌的生長。本研究的目的即在於探討肉桂酸類衍生物的抗黴菌活性,評估肉桂酸類衍生物對於木質材料中常見黴菌Aspergillus niger、A. terreus與Chaetomium globosum的抑制效果。研究結果顯示對三種試驗黴菌的抑制活性,以trans-cinnamaldehyde、p-methoxycinnamaldehyde與2-methoxycinnamaldehyde等化合物的效果較佳,可開發為環保型的防黴劑。

The climate of Taiwan is warm and moist, lignocellulosic products are easily endangered by mildew. If we can improve antimildew activity of lignocellulosic products, their service life will be prolonged. Among cinnamic acid derivatives, trans-cinnamaldehyde has been proven to be an excellent fungicide. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the inhibitory effects of cinnamic acid derivatives against three common mildew including Aspergillus niger, Chaetomium globosum and Aspergillus terreus. Results revealed cinnamic acid derivatives, including trans-cinnamaldehyde, p-methoxycinnamaldehyde, and 2-methoxycinnamaldehyde possessed the superior antimildew activity against three examined mildew strains. These environmental-friendly fungicidal cinnamic acid derivatives can be used as antimildew agents.
