應用有效微生物群改善林木之播種及幼苗期生長

The Application of Effective Microorganisms to Improve Seedling Growing Quality

摘要


本研究旨在探討有效微生物群(effective microorganisms, 簡稱EM),進行林木幼苗生長之改善研究。試驗採用有效微生物群EM及經EM發酵生成之有機肥料波卡西(Bokashi)添加之土壤,使用於台灣櫸(Zelkova serrata)、光蠟樹(Fraxinus griffithii)、相思樹(Acacia confuse)及台灣欒樹(Koelreuteria formosana)等造林與綠化栽植樹種,觀察其之培育過程,經8個月之試驗結果,顯示各樹種在種子發芽率、苗高淨生長量、根頸直徑淨生長量、葉綠素濃度a+b及植體氮、磷、鉀、鈣、鎂等元素濃度上,均以經EM併同波卡西處理之土壤者為佳。顯示有效微生物群可改善育苗土壤,並對苗木之播種發芽、幼苗生長,及生理特性有增進作用。

The objective of this study was to examine the effects of Effective Microorganisms (EM) on growth and physiological characteristics of Taiwan main afforestation green trees. The examine seedlings were: Koelreuteria formosana Hay., Zelkova serrata Thunb., Acacia confusa Merr. and Fraxinus insularis Hemsl. The results showed that EM and Bokashi treatment significantly enhanced the germination rate, net height growth, net root collar diameter growth, total dry weight, leaf area, leaf number, chlorophyll concentrations and N, P, K, Ca, Mg element content of the seedling. This study demonstrated that EM and Bokashi could improve the soil medium and significantly enhance growth, biomass and physiological characteristics of the seedlings.
