台灣國小教師與校護口腔衛生認知、態度、與行為之探討

Oral Health Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices of Primary School Teachers and Nurses in Taiwan

摘要


本文研究對象為台灣國小教師與校護,目的為探討台灣地區國小教師、校護之口腔衛生知識、態度、行為現況及其與社會人口學、參與校園口腔保健計量間之關係。研究採取橫斷研究並且配合問卷調查。採分層多段集束抽樣(stratified multi-stage cluster sampling)調查法,共抽出267所學校,2,526份問卷,回收率86.68%。資料以JMP統計套裝軟體進行統計分析。2526名教師與校護中,其口腔衛生知識平均總分為73.10分,主要影響因素為:年齡、擔任職務、是否為健康促進學校、是否參加合氣漱口水計畫、學生中午是否有餐後潔牙。口腔衛生態度平均總分為77.83,主要影響因素為擔任職務,校護明顯優於教師。在行為方面:有65%教師及校護一天刷牙次數三次(含)以上,使用貝氏刷牙法佔53.13%,有定期看牙醫者習慣者佔53.68%。有44.62%教師與校護不清楚其服務學校參與鈞93、94年度健康促進學校。校護不論在知識、態度、行為均優於教師。口腔知識、態度、行為三者間呈正相關。校護應發揮其護理專業優勢,執行口腔衛生推廣活動,並協助教師配合學校積極推行有關口腔保健活動。

The goals of this study were to research the oral hygiene knowledge, attitudes, and practices of school teachers and school nurses and the relationship between school oral hygiene programs and the social demographic status, The research applied a stratified multistage cluster sampling method, there were 267 schools and 2526 questionnaires in total , with a 86.68% return rate, The collected data were processed and analyzed by JMP statistical software, The mean score of primary school teachers' and nurses' oral health related knowledge was 73.10. The main factors influencing the score were age, the position in the school, the school was a health-promoting school, the school participated in a fluoride mouth rinse program, and the school participated in a tooth-brushing program, The mean score of the oral hygiene-related attitudes was 77.83, and the mean attitude score was statistically significantly associated with the position in the schools, and the mean attitude score of the school nurses was better than that of the faculty, The mean score of the primary school teachers' and nurses' oral health-related practice were as follows: (1) 65% of faculty and nurses bushed their teeth 3 times a day; (2) 52.13% of them brushed their teeth using the Bass method; and (3) 53.68% of the faculty and school nurses visited a dentist routinely In addition, 44.62% of faculty and nurses did not know whether or not their school was a health-promoting school. The school nurses' knowledge, attitudes, and practices of oral health were better than those of the faculty. The oral knowledge, attitudes, and practices were all related to one another. School nurses should use their professional position to promote oral hygiene activities, and assist teachers in promoting and cooperating with school oral hygiene programs.
