摘要

管理視聽（非書）資料，是個有趣的差事，雖然較圖書資料複雜些，卻充滿了發現的喜悅；這是一項視聽（非書）資料選擇的初步研究，企圖從選擇的過程，來看選擇工作之進行，先是以政策與標準來規範、量度選擇，再以工具實際來進行選擇工作；強調骨架結構而少深入細節。

The Management of audiovisual (nonbook) materials is an interesting task, though more complex then books, but full the joy of discovery. This is a basic study of audiovisual material selection; from the process of selection decision, we attempt to see the ongoing work of selection. First, we utilize the policy and standards of selection to set specifications and measurements then, use the tools of selection to perform the work selection, emphasis is on the structure and seldom on details.
