本文首先解釋與電腦多媒體有關的名詞，介紹電腦多媒體資料的類型，接著探討圖書館處理電腦多媒體資料的採訪、編目及維護等技術性服務問題，以及應用電腦多媒體協助讀者服務的可行途徑。
