摘要
國際兒童圖書館是日本第一所國立兒童圖書專門圖書館，成立於2000年1月1日，乃是國立國會圖書館的分館，以提供兒童文學研究、兒童圖書閱覽服務及增進不同文化的了解為主要任務。本文介紹該館的建築物、基本任務、館藏資源、設備、服務項目、資訊系統、兒童服務及未來發展。

The International Library of Children's Literature was founded on January 1, 2000 as a branch of the National Diet Library. Its basic roles are supporting research and study on childrens literature, providing children's reading services and contributing to mutual understanding among cultures.
