摘要

近十年來，世界各國大力推展閱讀活動，這股熱潮也在臺灣出現。公共圖書館在推廣閱讀風氣扮演了中流砥柱的角色，出版業供應公共圖書館館藏，提供民眾免費借閱，在圖書館、出版社、讀者之中，三者應維持怎樣的平衡關係，才能各蒙其利呢？

In the recent decade, the whole world has been promoting reading as a leisure activity, and Taiwan is now following this track. The public library serves as a leading role while popularizing the habit of reading. The public is allowed to borrow the book collections supplied by the publishing industries for free. However, what kind of a balanced relationship should be maintained the triangle of the library, the publisher, and the reader, so that all can benefit from the trend?
