摘要

位於舊金山公共圖書館（SFPL）總圖書館六樓的舊金山歷史中心，其典藏的舊金山歷史圖像範圍，包括照片和其他從1850年代到至今有關舊金山及加州的作品。中心收藏的圖像主題涵蓋了舊金山街頭的場景、建築物和街區，以及舊金山當地著名人物的照片等。這些歷史圖像典藏資源是城市集體記憶，也是區域研究的珍貴史料來源。本文首先從簡述SFPL設置歷程與服務內涵、及舊金山歷史中心所提供的資源與服務，解析SFPL網站歷史圖像主題數位服務與地理編碼圖像探索老舊金山服務介面架構，從而探討SFPL歷史圖像數位服務的建置與內涵，並分析此網站數位資訊服務功能與特色。

The San Francisco historical photograph collection, located in the San Francisco History Center on the 6th floor of Main Library of San Francisco Public Library (SFPL), contains photographs and works on papers of San Francisco and California scenes ranging from 1850 to the present. The photograph collection database consists of images from the San Francisco History Center subject collection. This collection includes views of San Francisco street scenes, buildings, and neighborhoods, as well as photographs of famous San Francisco personalities. These digital resources of historical images are collective memory of the city, and the precious historical source of regional studies. From the development and services of SFPL and San Francisco History Center, digital topic service of San Francisco historical photograph collection, and the library's geocoded images on old S.F., this article mainly explores the contents and functions of digital services of San Francisco historical photograph collection of SFPL website, and finally analyzes some features of digital information services of this site.
