城市與鄉村國中生智力測驗結果的比較

A Comparative Study of Intelligence and Capability of Urban and Rural Junior High School Students

本研究旨在比較台灣地區城市與鄉村國中學生智能的差異,研究對象取自台灣地區16所國中1,523名二年級學生(男773,女750),其中城市樣本組777名(男399,女378),而鄉村樣本組746名(男374,女372)。研究工具為黃國彥等修訂之羅桑二氏語文智力測驗(F層次),本研究利用受試者在該測驗上所得字彙、語句完成、算術推理、歸納、語文類推等各分測驗之分數及總分(為智力之指標)進行統計分析,結果發現台灣地區城市與鄉村國中二年級學生的各項智能之平均數並非均等,且可推論城市國中生的智能較優於鄉村國中生的智能。

The purpose of this study was to investigate differences of intelligence and capability between urban and rural junior high school students. Subjects consisted 1523 second year students (male 773, female 750) were sampled from 16 junior high schools. The revised Lorge-Thorndike Verbal intelligence test (level F) was administered to 777 urban students (male 399, female 378), and 746 rural students (male 374, female 372). The analyzed results showed the intelligence and capability of urban junior high school students are superior to those of rural junior high school students.
