高錳對ADI硬度及磨耗行為之影響

Effect of High Manganese on Hardness and Wear Behavior of Austempered Ductile Iron

摘要


本研究目的主要是利用高錳含量(1 wt%)的添加來提高沃斯回火球墨鑄鐵(ADI)硬化能,然後進行金相試驗、硬度試驗及乾式磨耗試驗,以探討高錳對ADI顯微組織、硬度及磨耗行為之影響。實驗結果顯示:添加1 wt%Mn會降低ADI組織之殘留沃斯田體含量,且沃斯回火溫度越高,殘留沃斯田體的減少量越多。此高錳ADI不但可提高硬度,而且亦可略降摩擦係數及改善耐磨耗性。

This study mainly utilized high (1wt%) Mn addition to increase the hardenability of austempered ductile iron (ADI), and then conducted metallographic tests, hardness tests, and dry wear tests for exploring the effect of high Mn alloying on microstructure, hardness, and wear behavior of ADI. The experimental results showed that ADI with 1wt% Mn addition decreased the content of retained austenite in its microstructure. Moreover, the content of retained austenite had a decrease with increasing austempering temperature. The ADI, containing high Mn, has a higher hardness and slightly lower friction coefficient and improves wear resistance.
