Reconstruction of Chronic Dislocation of Sternoclavicular Joint with Subclavius Tendon

並列摘要

Three patients were operated on after unsuccessful conservative treatment of chronic, painful dislocation of the sternoclavicular joint, two anterior and one posterior. All are males and dominant sides. Average age was 21.3 years. Indirect lateral compression of shoulder in two anterior dislocations and direct blow with anteromedial compression of clavicle in posterior, were noted. All of these patients were received reconstruction with subclavius tendon which looped medial clavicle through holes and tenodesis itself. Sternoclavicular joint was explored and the ruptured disc was removed. Placation of sternoclavicular capsule also was done. Postoperative rehabilitation was continued for half a year. All of them had excellent results after 2 years follow-up with full elevation of shoulder, painless motion, and without recurrent dislocation or subluxation.
