醫學系營養課程內容需求及現況研究

Need Assessment of Nutrition Content in Medical Curriculum and Evaluation of Current Status

摘要


本研究之目的在瞭解醫學系教授、醫師及營養師對醫學系營養課程內容的看法,以及目前醫學系課程及醫院在職教育中教授營養內容的情形,並對規畫醫學系營養課程內容提出建議。研究採問卷調查法,以台灣地區各醫學系營養相關課程授課教授、醫學中心、準醫學中心與區域醫院與營養相關性較高之科別之主任及主治大夫,及營養室主任為對象,共發出639份問卷,回收之有效問卷291份。以平均數假設t考驗,獨立樣本t考驗統計方法進行分析。研究結果發現全體填答者共評定94個項目為醫學系營養課程中具有必要性的內容,其中「必要」者為十一項,「有點必要」者為八十三項。醫界與營養界填答者共同評定為「必要」或「有點必要」的內容共有六十三項。以主題來看,必要性最高的前六項由高至低依序為「營養支持」、「疾病與營養代謝、疾病飲食處方」、「六大類營養素」、「營養與藥物」、「熱量」、「生命期營養」。各主題於醫學系課程中教授的狀況非常不普遍,多數主題均未被教授;而在醫院在職教育中則比醫學系較常涵蓋那些在評估中被認為必要性很高的主題,但以時數來看仍然相當少,多數是0.5~2小時。

The purpose of the study was to assess the need for nutrition topics in medical schools. A self-administered questionnaire was used in this study. A total of 291 medical and nutrition professionals, including professors, medical doctors and dietitians from medical departments and hospitals completed this questionnaire. A t-test was used to analyze the data. Ninety four items of 12 nutrition topics were evaluated as essential components in the medical curriculum. Sixty three items were evaluated as essential by both medical and nutrition professionals. The most important nutrition topics were ”nutrition support”, ”disease and nutritional metabolisms prescription for diet therapy”, ”nutrition and drug”, ”energy”, ”life cycle nutrition”. All 12 topics were rarely taught in medical school. Some important topics were incorporated in the in-service programs of hospitals, but usually 0.5 to 2 hours.
